10th July 1999 SYDNEY PELAGIC TRIP REPORT, NSW, AUSTRALIA

Conditions,
Departed at 7.15 am and returned at approx. 3.00 pm.
Sea Conditions: Slight swell to 1-2 metre.
Weather: Mostly fine with some cloud cover.
Wind: Light around 10 knots from the South
Water temperature 17.8 to 18.7 degrees C.

Summary,
Another great trip. Not quite to the Wollongong Standards last week
but Blue Petrel and very obliging Prions (at least 3 species) along
with large numbers of Cape Petrels made for a memorable trip.
Interesting (and rather gripping) comparisons can be made with
the Wollongong Pelagic which also sailed on the 10th July 99. This
will go down as one of the best trips ever for prion photography.
