Eden (NSW) Pelagic Report. Sunday July 18, 1999.

Departed 8 am. Returned 4.30 pm. Went out 28 miles.
Seas: Calm, rising to 2 metre swell later in the day.
Winds: Light to moderate. Sky: Clear, sunny, becoming dull, overcast later.
Water temp: 17.4 degrees C. Air temp: 14 degrees C.

Fine weather, calm sea on departure. First 15 miles very few birds (1
penguin 4 gannets). Nearer shelf large number of Shy and other albatross.
Highlight for most was Slender-billed Prion. Turned back after reaching
37degrees 20" 37 S. 150 degrees 21" 41 E.
