I am shortly going to visit South Africa. The question of travel insurance has arisen and I was wondering if anyone can advise on suitable insurance for optical equipment when overseas. Birders as a group carry a lot of expensive gear but policies that I have looked at so far really do not seem adequate, especially if you take a telescope, binoculars and camera.
