In rely to Laurie, I visited Lake Clarendon last Sunday. Again, nothing that remotely resembled Freckled Ducks. The "dam" with the swans is a natural swamp (Janhke's Swamp) and when the seasons allow, is often the source of many fabulous sightings. Last Sunday I saw three Blue Billed Ducks (1 male, 2 females) at Janhke's Swamp as well as one of the white swans. Although the swans have been there for a while, I have not heard anyone refer to them as albinos as they appear to have dark eyes. Perhaps someone will have a good enough view to positively identify eye colour in the near future. With regards to King Parrots in Sydney, my daughter lives in Baulkham Hills and I can assure you that King Parrots are extremely common in their area.
