birding-aus Hooded Robins

While out birdwatching on Sunday afternoon 4/7/99 I observed 2 Hooded Robins in an area known as Kinchina, some 8 km west of Murray Bridge in S.Aust. This area is mainly patches of mallee along roads and a railway line. I my experience Hooded Robins are infrequently observed in the mallee areas between the Adelaide Hills and the Murray River.
