Victor Yue asked "Where can I get more information on this?" >From experiences with this tree, I know that it seriously affects some people for a week or so almost continually, then possibly for several weeks longer intermittently, sometimes being brought back by contact with cold air or objects or water. I also learned from reading in the WA State Library as a kid that the sap from the bark (stem or root) is the best treatment. I have used it twice on people in my company when stung, and the thing has ended in an hour or so. I think that is worth knowing, so did the recipients, one of whom had been stung previously, and had endured several weeks of pain.
