I am making this enquiry on behalf of a friend who is leaving next week for 3
weeks in Malaysia. Any replies to the following questions or any other help or
advice will be much appreciated.
1. Suggestions for cheap accommodation at Fraser's Hill (apart from the Gap
resthouse - still about RM40?)
2. Contact details for the resident birder(s) at Fraser's Hill
3. E Malaysia: My friend has tentatively planned to visit Kuching (+ Bako
NP),
Sibu, Miri (+ Niah NP), Kota Kinabalu (+ Tunku Abdul Raman Park) and
Sandakan. Are any of these good birding areas? Are there any other good
birding sites near to these places and are there any other not-to-be-missed
birding sites in E Malaysia?
