Yesterday's Australian had an article on p.11 about the deliberate release of rainbow lorikeets in New Zealand by a "Rex Gilfillan" who is being prosecuted for same. I have no evidence that this is the same person as the Rex Gilfillan who recently enquired on Birding-Aus about lorikeet-honeyeater interactions.
