Annie & I, & Keith Brandwood were shown a Noisy Pitta at Taronga Park zoo, Sydney at 11 o'clock today.  Dion said it has been recorded intemittently for the last month. It is a juvenile bird and definitely not zoo stock.  It is about the 5th record for Sydney and my first.  Tony Palliser saw it last week.

It has been seen mostly around midday around the back of the White Tiger and Snow Leopard enclosures.  We watched it hopping up the sandstone and feeding for about 10 minutes.

Admission to the zoo is $16 plus $5 for parking.  Good luck.
