G'day All, After putting up two bird feeder trays for some friends that live locally to me we sat and enjoyed a cup of coffee together gazing out the window eyes glued on the feeders. Within ten minutes we had four Rainbow Lorikeets at one feeder and two Eastern Rosella at the other. About a four metre spread between the feeders. Five minutes later and a "Little Wattlebird" (Anthochaera chryspotera) flies down and moves the RL's on ? not the ER's soon the Little Wattlebird discovers not much food for him and moves on to his favorite flowering gum tree. Then we see the mating ritual of the RL's ????? Surely this is miles to early especially for Extreme Southern Victoria ? Can anyone clarify ? _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
