If we were birds, what would you wish to be, Flying wingtip to wingtip, or roosting in our tree, Pecking on the shore, or stabbing at the muddy ground, Wading in the shallows, where small fish can be found, Soaring in wide circles, checking the earth below, Feeding our restless young, watching them safely grow, Calling out in panic, as we spy the neighbourhood cat, Him climbing up our tree, our children say " Hey Dad what's that ? " Teaching the young to soar and dive, Happy with our world cos were all alive, What would you wish to be ? Free to our world of avain friends. _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
