Dear All I too would much prefer a garden full of robins, wrens and honeyeaters. But would we get them in the inner city? Or, would the outcome of the rather distressing exercise of mass egg piercing, nest destruction and bird-bashing simply produce a bird-free environment? Have there been any studies on the (re)colonisation of urban areas by native species, here or overseas? And why is it the Rainbow Loris, as hollow nesters, seem to be having no trouble?
