Hurrah for Paul McDonald! I thought for a moment that I was seeing things and we were going soft on Sparrows and other introduced birds. Native birds need all the help they can get to compete with the introduced species. I shall continue to destroy their nests and discourage them from multiplying. Like Paul, I would much rather see Blue Wrens,Grey Thrushes and our native finches flourishing in my garden!!
