For information of the list. Not really an advertisement, just a happy
customer.

I have purchased three cd's in recent years by the "Listening Earth" team
from Castlemaine in Victoria that are superb recordings of bush sounds,
particularly birds, of south-east Australia. To increase my enjoyment of
the recordings I have previously secured copies of the supporting notes for
each recordings by mail but have recently found that the East Gippsland cd
notes (and others) are now available via the following website:

                     http://www.listeningearth.com.au/

For those of you with the cds: "A morning in the Australian Bush", "Tall
Forest" or "A walk in the rainforest" I can recommend checking this site if
you have not already a set of supporting notes. The notes give accurate
timing and species details for where calls can be found on each disc.
There is plenty of detail about the recordings as well.

Interestingly, the notes for one of the discs asks purchases to help
identify some bird sounds on one of the recordings (another reason for
getting the discs?). If you like good bird call/song recordings then this
is a must.
