We have just returned from a few days in the Hattah lakes area(south of Mildura,Vic).Hattah lake is drying out and was teeming with birds. I counted 148 Black fronted Dotterel feeding on the shoreline,!!! Can anyone better that number, it's certainly the greatest concentration of B.F.Dot,s that I have ever seen. Bett Mitchell.
