Another use of the word Dead Finish. Unrelated to Quail Thrushes. The author of a handy little book on tracks and traces of animals (Barbara Triggs) lives at a place called Dead Finish. Which is near Genoa far East Gippsland (Vic.) on the shores of Mallacoota Inlet.
