    Martin, I apologise for posting an untried web site address to the
list and for putting you to uncalled for trouble.
    Like you, I could not get a response to the address in the message.
I subsequently did a search using Northern Light for Raptor Information
System and was able to get a response at
htp://www.eagle.idbsu.edu/ris.html
    The Raptor Research and Technical Assistance Center in the National
Biological Service when further searched  is now  USGS/BRD , Snake River
Field Station, 970 Lusk Street, Boise, Ind. 83706 and  searches on this
name send you back to www. ris.idbsu.edu which of course is where we
came in. It would appear that the organisation has gone "off the air" at
its web addresses except for the one I have just mentioned.
    I am sure that other subscribers to the original source list,
ie.BIRDBAND-L will query the post as you have done and an answer will
come forward. ,  Mike
