birding-aus
A couple of suggestions - and thanks to all who wrote in about the sudden
silence. A few messages have popped up in the last few minutes, so maybe
all is OK again.
Re the lack of messages:
A) You've all been too busy reading all the duck hunting messages. I
know I'm still wading through them, if you'll excuse a rather unfortunate
choice of words.
B) Lots of Melbourne folk have been busy preparing for and going to a
couple of meetings. Hugo Phillipps and Peter Lansley will give you
details and call for info/helpers in the very near future. But this only
excuses the Melbourne birdos.
C) Deakin UNiversity do much of their scheduled network maintenance on
Thursdays, and they've been having all sorts of other hassles. Their mail
server is obviously working, but I know that at least one message has not
got through to the list.
So I'm sorry if you've sent a message that hasn't appeared. I'd suggest
that you try again later - but please don't send the same message more
than a couple of times. If it's an important one, send it to me or one of
the 'regulars' to forward for you.
Now I just have to hope that THIS message gets through!
Cheers
Russell
