birding-aus Sadly I have to report that the Florence Street "Garden Bird List" has reached 59 species. "Sadly" in that the latest addition is the Common Myna, seen flying over the property last Thursday (18 March 1999). It is not the first recorded sighting for the Redcliffe Peninsula; they have been seen, usually singly since about early 1996 and in Kippa-Ring since last year but up until now they had avoided Florence Street. It brings the total of "introduced" species to three - House Sparrow, Common Starling and now Common Myna. Julian ................
