For waders, pop out to Nudgee Beach at low tide [Nudgee beach turn-off
the Gateway Arterial Rd north of the Airport]. Tinchi Tampa [on the
banks of the Pine River - convoluted access of the Gateway] is not bad.
There are also some good mudflats round Cleveland.
The tide goes out about 100-200 metres at Nudgee Beach, but be aware
that it can come in fairly quickly.
