Jim Fancis (a well known and reliable local observer) called me today  
to report a sighting yesterday of 2 Glossy Swiflets at South Hurstville, 
in Sydney yesterday at 10.03am 
 
I only no of one other claim for Sydney which involves a bird a seen 
about a year ago at Avalon by Rod Gardner. 
 
Jim is very confident about the identification having seen the birds 
well for several minutes.
