birding-aus Just a quick note to inform you that 2 Oriental Cuckoos were seen this evening (25/02/99) on the catchment area of Lake Samsonvale, about 300m from the 'gate' (now a fence) at the end of Postman's Track, by Detlef Davies and myself. The birds were seen on wattles (acacias) on the grassy area beyond the track junction at the bottom of the hill, but were very shy and difficult to refind. (sorry Rohan!)
