Having lived on Guadalcanal for most of the 1970's and viewing birds regularly in the area of Bloody Ridge, etc. I was looking forward to seeing the movie.

The only animals in your list that actually live on or around Guadalcanal are the frigatebirds, Sacred Kingfisher, Eclectus Parrot (thick around Bloody Ridge) and hornbill (where did they find THAT in FNQ?).

I am wondering, now, how much else I will find disappointing.
