Summary,
Taking into account the number of high quality observers on board and the
distance traveled this trip was, for most, somewhat of a let down. Bird
numbers and variety being well down on expectations. A pleasant calm day
though, with ideal opportunities to photograph Flesh-footed Shearwaters and
Great-winged Petrel. One or two observers did manage to see a distant
Buller's Shearwater but most missed it. Tom Smith has kindly offered to
complete the atlas sheets.
