birding-aus A question for Canberra (shore)birders: Some weeks ago, Latham's Snipe were reported at Jerrabombera Wetlands. Do they generally occur there all summer or only pass through? Are there any particular areas favoured by the snipe when they are here? (I have looked on a number of occasions early in the morning but without success.) Also, where is the closest (and best) place on the NSW South Coast to Canberra for viewing a range of shorebirds? Thank you in anticipation of your responses.
