birding-aus Here in Townsville (19*19'S 146*E) there have been a couple of reports of Australian Magpie attacks on people, primarily along the cycle paths (and yes, people do jog / cycle whatever in the tropics during the wet season). When I worked in Canberra I remember there was a leaflet available entitled 'Living with Magpies' or words to that effect.
