birding-aus FURTHER TO THE SOOTY OWL TALK/OBSERVATIONS OF LATE... On Thursday the 4th of February, at the Harbourside Brasserie, Pier One, Sydney, there is a benefit gig for Australian owls and their forest habitats, organised by The Wilderness Society. The money raised goes to helping the Powerful Owl and other owls. There will be three or four jazz-folk like bands playing on the night. I'll be there, wearing a Wedge-tailed Eagle t-shirt... say hello if you see me! I hope to see you there. It's a VERY important, unique night. Thanks, LORNE. PS - Also, a big thanks to CHRIS GLADWIN who plugged the gig on BIRDLINE NSW after I asked him to.
