Hi all, This is a RFI mainly forMelbourne birders. I'm looking for places where I will be able to observe up close the following species - currawongs, grey butcherbirds, grey shrike-thrushes, ravens, kookaburras. I want to observe them feeding up close. Does anyone know of any places, hopefully east or south of Melbourne, or even down the Mornington Peninsula way, where I might be able to see them up close? I was thinking there might be some picnic grounds or similar where one or more of these species reguarly visits to feed. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Please reply direct to me.
