This morning, a mature-plumaged Pied Butcherbird was sub-singing snatches of Grey Butcherbird (3 times), Pale-headed Rosella ('pip-pip-pip')(twice), Aust. Magpie (3), various calls of its own, Magpie-lark, Laughing Kookaburra (3) and it may have been trying out Toressian Crow. Lightened the 'poring over a hot computer' for me as he was just outside my window. Gloria Glass Gowrie Junction, nr Toowoomba SEQld |
