Hi! There is (Saturday am) an immature kelp gull on Newcastle beach (near the rocks on the south side of the pool). It still has a broad black tail band like the black-tailed gull but adult kelp gull bill colour. Is this sighting unusual this far north? Ross ph 02 9484 0847 |
