Musk Lorikeets are common in Altona meadows and Laverton at the moment and
their roosting flocks usually include a few Purple-crowned Lorikeets and
fewer Little Lorikeets. They are roosting near Laverton cricket oval and at
the back of the water treatment plant. Can see or hear all three species
from my home most evenings.

Purple-crowned Lorikeets are probably nesting in concrete lamp-posts by
Westona Station car park
