The co-author (with Ken Simpson) is Zoe Wilson, who is, among other things,
the Editor of the Bird Observer, and from that I get the idea that Zoe is a
talented and professional person and also a leader in Australian
bird-watching and conservation activities.   

As I don't live in Melbourne I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting Zoe
but the book in question is listed at the introductory price of $24.00 from
BOCA.  (Sorry, Richard, that is not meant to be and ad. rather it is the
dissemination of general information).  By the way, the quality of the Bird
Observer far out-strips the annual subscription rates for BOCA.
