Great news, a visiting birdo (Jim Healey from Las Vegas) camped at Cumberland Dam on the 14.10. and saw on Thurday, 15.10.98 eight Gouldian Finches (5 black,3 red) at about 8.30 am. He gave me this info when I met him on Cape York last week.
