There is a Yellow-tailed White Cockatoo resident in Wauchope on the NSW mid-north coast. Joe Forshaw has written something about this in Eclectus, the BA Parrot Group newsletter. I'm sure Joe would be extremely interested in the white Red-tail. The Wauchope bird spends a fair bit of time, when its not feeding in the golf course, loafing with other Yellow-tails in the large Blackbutts in my mothers backyard. Quite a spectacular bird.
