Could anyone in Sydney or Canberra please assist: I have a pair of elderly binoculars (unsure of year of make but the original owner died in 1922) which I had re-aligned in Brisbane a year or two ago. The technician hurriedly put them back together as I moved to Canberra at short notice. In his haste, he left finger prints on some of the internal lenses. I would like to have the lenses cleaned but the shop I took them to in Canberra wouldn't do the work due to the age of the binoculars. Can anyone suggest a shop/technician in the ACT or Sydney they would recommend? I would appreciate any suggestions. (The binoculars are not particularly fragile and they are extremely cute - 12 x 30s.) Thanks Fiona Johnson |
