Hello Everyone Spring continues with a large camp of Spectacled Flying-foxes in Barratt Creek starting their maternity time. Four babies were seen this morning hanging on to their mothers in flight and many more rotund females with them as they settled for the day. Our first Dollarbird arrived yesterday on it's southern journey making it the eighth migrant for the spring. Blackbean trees, common here, have been flowering for weeks and have attracted thousands of Rainbow Lorikeets. cheers Chris |
