Report on a pelagic boat trip from Dunnalley (Tasmania), 29/9/98

Dunnalley is a small port on the east coast of Tasmania (about 20 km north
of Eaglehawk Neck).

Those present: Bill and Maggie Wakefield, Phil Maher, George Appleby, Tim
Reid and four others.

Weather: Fine and sunny all day (0/8 cloud). Gentle breeze from the NW
(F1-2) with slight seas (F1) in morning, with wind increasing from the N in
afternoon (F3-4).

Activities: Departed Dunnalley 0710. Passed out of Blackman Bay 0800. Headed
east to the continental shelf, arriving there at approximately 1000. Headed
back to port at 1330. Arrive Visscher Island 1510, and depart 1520. Arrive
Blackman Bay 1545. Docked 1620.

Water temperature ranged from 12.1 - 13.0oC.
