BIRDS AUSTRALIA TWITCHATHON 1998
The 1998 Twitchathon is scheduled for the last weekend of Birdweek, (24-25
October). If you are new to birding, or a keen twitcher this is a good way
to support bird conservation while having a great time. Regional Groups
will be taking over all aspects of the Twitchathon this year, with each
Regional Group (or other willing body) choosing their own species or
program to support. If you can help with the organisation, the publicity,
prizes, issuing of receipts once money is collected or the many other tasks
involved in running a successful fundraiser, please contact your state
organiser. If you are entering a team this year, or want more information,
