There is a paper in the "Bird in the Hand" series in the Australian Bird Study Association journal "Corella" that deals with ageing of Blue-faced Honeyeaters. By Clancy & Lane from memory. I don't have the information on hand but this discusses the time taken for face colour to change. David Geering |
