Although I am as interested in the beliefs and sayings of Indigenous people as anyone you have to be careful, especially about Native American sayings. Some time around, I think, the 1940s someone was writign a book about Native Americans and was disappointed that he could find so few sayings of deep wisdom that he felt sure must have been uttered by them in the course of dispossession. So he invented sayings by the handful, and many of them found their way into dictionaries of quotations and, ultimately, on to bumper stickers. So, if possible, research your bumper sticker.
