Huge numbers of commoner seabirds close inshore during the storm at all
Sydney and Central Coast headlands were the major highlights by observers in
New South Wales over the last week:

COMMON DIVING PETREL    1 off Maroubra, Sydney 8/8
NORTHERN GIANT PETREL   1 Maroubra 8/8, 1 Norah Head 8/8
SOUTHERN GIANT PETREL   2 Maroubra 8/8
PROVIDENCE PETREL       90 Maroubra 8/8 
FLUTTERING SHEARWATER   8000 in 8 hours off Maroubra 8/8
OSPREY          1 Narrabeen and Dee Why, Sydney all week
GREY GOSHAWK    1 Lady Carrington Drive, Audley 2/8, 1 Erina, Central Coast

BLACK FLACON    1 Mount Tanandra, Macquarie Marshes 31/7
CASPIAN TERN    9 The Entrance, Central Coast 8/8

BAR-SHOULDERED DOVE     2 Ingleside, Sydney 27/7

YELLOW-TAILED BLACK COCKATOO    45 Centennial Park, Sydney 8/8
KING PARROT     20 Barradine 7/8 - west of normal range
SWIFT PARROT    20 Londonderry, Sydney 3/8
