Just thought some people might be interested in the fact that Swift Parrots are currently spread across five Australian states. They are in Queensland (Gold Coast), South Australia (Millicent), Tasmania (Some stayed there, but no noticeable increases to suggest that any have returned from the mainland), and of course Victoria and New South Wales. This means that virtually all observers are within the "boundaries" of their current distribution. I am hoping to see my first ever Regent Honeyeater this weekend. Lets hope the weather keeps (wonderful day here in Victoria). Good luck! Simon Kennedy |
