Dear Sydney birdo's The person who normally covers the Mudgee - Munghorn Gap - Wollar area during the Regent Honeyeater/Swift Parrot surveys will not be able to get there this weekend. In light of the promise that this spring is showing, and the apparent lack of Regents in the Capertee Valley, it could well be they are lurking in this area. If anyone is looking for an excuse to get over to Mughorn for the weekend, this is your chance. The stretch of road between Munghorn Gap all the way to Wollar are regular sites for Regents. Surrounding areas, ie Goulburn River NP, Bareami, Widden are being covered. They must be out there somewhere !! Thank you David Geering Regent Honeyeater Recovery Coordinator |
