I've been adding content to Worldtwitch,
http://geocities.com/rainforest/vines/9684/, as reports
come in, and links have been expanded to include additional interesting
ornithological and
practical webpages. Some new subpages include Asian expedition reports by Ben
King, an
IBAMA notice by Maria Iolita Bampi about the threat that bird collectors pose
to Lear's Macaw,
Michael Parr's compilation of information about endangered neotropical parrots,
Jon Horbuckle's
report of a recent Vietnam birding trip with Nick Gardner, two articles on
neotropical parrots by
Brazilian ornithologist Carlos Yamashita, and the latest Thailand bird reports
edited by Phil
Round.

You are encouraged to post requests for information and requests for companions
for foreign
birding trips on the Worldtwitch Message Board.

If you've been on a foreign birding trip or if you live outside of the U.S.,
Europe, and Aus/NZ,
please send me details of any sightings or other material that you consider
appropriate for
Worldtwitch. I would also be interested in any suggestions for improving
Worldtwitch.

You can see the geographical distribution of visitors to the site by clicking
on the graphics of the
three tracking services to which I subscribe. They are at the upper left of
the Worldtwitch home
page.
