Hi Michael If you think that I was going in to bat for weeds you have mistaken my purpose ( although I have heard you speak in praise of tree lucerne). My point was more prosaic. If there are thousands of examples why has Paul chosen the Lyrebirds of Sherbrooke forest? Rumours of its demise are much exaggerated. Further, if other threatening processes were controlled ( principally foxes ) it could get on with weed control all by itself - you should watch them, Michael, they're really quite good at it.
