G'day birders! I'm an American teaching at the University of Melbourne for one term on a Fulbright Fellowship; and I'm an avid birder. I'm interested in making contact with VIC birders who might like to organize weekend outings (I don't yet have a car but expect to buy one in the next few weeks) or would simply be willing to give advice about what areas I should not miss, when to go, what to see, etc. In the States I now live most of the year in S.E. Arizona and would be happy to share my knowledge of its special Sierra Madrean and desert birds with anyone planning a visit there. Thanks much, Steve Gaulin |
