Yes, I was surprised some years ago to see POCs foraging on a grassy oval
just behind the beach in Caloundra. I lived nearby, and only observed this
for a few days at one point, and then never again. I might add that the
POCs never used the nearby beach, which was usually overrun by feral
children. They used to frequent the sandbars in the passage where humans
seldom went.
