Hi everybody -

The messages about Hobby hunting techniques remind me that the Australasian
Raptor Association (ARA) journal BOOBOOK is a good place to publish odd and
opportunistic observational snippets such as these. This publication (then
called ARA News) was drawn on extensively when Vol.2 of the Handbook of
Australian, New Zealand and Antarctic Birds (HANZAB) was being prepared.
Anybody seeing an interesting behaviour or food item of a raptor could check
HANZAB 2 to see whether it is a known part of the species' biology and, if
not, send a message to the BOOBOOK editor, Nick Mooney at:
<>

Cheers, Hugo.
