Ron Imisides is heading on a long trip into the Northern Territory and across the Gulf Country to Cape York and asked me about (un)likely places for Red Goshawk. I don't know of any "reliable" sites although I recall that a few years ago they were seen regularly near a guest house in the loose vicinity of Pine Creek on the southern side of Kakadu NP. Is anyone able to provide even anecdotal sites for Ron to check out? I know that he will put in a long effort at any promising site......... he has had plenty of practice waiting for Red Gos. like most of us!!! thanks Milburn Dr.Peter Milburn Biomolecular Resource Facility The Australian Nation University GPO Box 334 Canberra ACT 0200 AUSTRALIA Phone No. <61> <6> 249 4326 Fax No. <61> <6> 249 4326 E-mail Address |
