Hi Tony,

I was the person who saw the adult male Blue-winged Parrot on the
causeway at Towra Spit on 28 February 1986, at the time I thought that
it might have been an escapee. It is good that Jim Francis has found
another two. The habitat is similar to that used in coastal areas of
Victoria and Tasmania and at this time of the year the birds are on
mirgation from Tasmania.
